Rod Stewart - Young Turks

Roderick David Stewart mais conhecido como Rod Stewart - nascido em Highgate (Londres), a 10 de Janeiro de 1945, é um cantor e compositor britânico, com ascendência escocesa.

Rod foi agraciado com a Mais Excelente Ordem do Império Britânico (em inglês: Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) que é uma ordem de cavalaria estabelecida em 4 de Junho de 1917, por Jorge V. 

Conhecido pela sua voz áspera e rouca, Rod Stewart começou a ficar conhecido no final dos anos 60 quando participou da Jeff Beck Group tendo-se depois juntado aos The Faces, iniciando paralelamente a sua carreira solo que já dura há cinco décadas.

Ao longo de sua carreira, Rod atingiu várias vezes as paradas de sucesso, principalmente no Reino Unido, onde alcançou o primeiro lugar com seis álbuns. Por 24 vezes ficou no top 10 e seis vezes na posição número 1 entre as músicas mais executadas, para além de ter sido 9 vezes nº1 a nível mundial.
